By 2019, Radio Today 89.6 FM was reaching approximately 120 million listeners through its 10 broadcasting stations. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic and global shutdowns, the growing influence of social media and easy access to the internet led to a decline in radio listenership.

In response to changing listener habits, shifting interests, and commercial considerations, the company made the strategic decision to close some of its broadcasting stations. Currently, Radio Today 89.6 FM operates from two key cities, Dhaka and Chattogram, serving around 40 million listeners.
